Joseph Mayes

Joseph Mayes has studied with Andres Segovia, Jose Tomas, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, and Glenn Caluna. He has taught guitar, lute, vihuela, and mandolin at Rowan University since 1972. His recording credits include Lightly Love Ladies, a collection of popular Elizabethan lute pieces; Caprice, a recording of 19th-century guitar pieces; and The Schoole of Musicke, the complete recording of Thomas Robinson's lute tutor.
